Step 1
Google Play Console account
Create one at play.google.com/console. Google charges a one-time $25 USD developer fee. You will sign in with a Google account, then confirm your identity. That is the paperwork that unlocks listing an app.
Android 10 and up
Game Tracker already runs on Android 10+ in Chrome. You can install it tonight from the browser. Google Play is a separate, paid developer listing on top of that.
Nobody else can sign this for you — it has to be your Google account and your $25. The list below is every form that actually matters for Game Tracker.
Step 1
Create one at play.google.com/console. Google charges a one-time $25 USD developer fee. You will sign in with a Google account, then confirm your identity. That is the paperwork that unlocks listing an app.
Step 2
Console asks for a legal name, address, and government ID for verification. If you publish as a company, Google also asks for organization details. The $25 fee is paid once; you do not pay per app.
Step 3
Game Tracker is already an installable web app. To appear on Google Play, wrap it as a Trusted Web Activity (Bubblewrap or PWABuilder). That produces an Android App Bundle (.aab) targeting Android 10 (API 29) and the current Play target API.
Step 4
Play needs an app name (Game Tracker), a short description, a full description, a 512×512 icon, a 1024×500 feature graphic, and phone screenshots. You can capture those from this app once it is running on a device.
Step 5
Content ratings (IARC questionnaire — this app is a shopping guide, not a game, and is not designed for children). Data safety form (Game Tracker stores watch lists only on the device; no account, no sale of personal data). Privacy policy URL — required before review.
Step 6
The app does not sell games or take payment. It compares third-party shop prices. That keeps you out of Play Billing for digital goods. Do not claim live in-store inventory you cannot verify. Keep store names accurate. Include a short note that prices are compiled market figures, not a checkout.
Step 7
Upload the .aab, complete the questionnaires, attach a privacy policy, pick countries, and hit Send for review. First listings often take a few days. Google emails the Console account if anything needs a fix.
Start at play.google.com/console. Pay the $25, verify identity, then come back to wrap this listing as a Play package when you are ready.
